The vitality of Bethany's mission is sustained by a host of friends and donors, each of whom contributes at his or her own chosen level. As way of recognizing our donors, we have established a variety of groupings, both for Bethany Fund and for overall giving.

Giving to Bethany Fund -- President's Associates

New in fiscal year 2007 is the President's Associate category. Individuals who contribute at least $2,500 per year to the Bethany Fund (unrestricted annual fund) are members of this group. Those who contribute $5,000 to $9,999 to Bethany Fund are designated President's Associate Sustainers, and those who contribute $10,000 or more, President's Associate Benefactors. President's Associates are recognized each year in our annual report.

Giving for all purposes -- Giving Circles

Overall contributions, whether to Bethany Fund, restricted purposes, or endowments, are recognized in Bethany's Giving Circles at the following annual levels:

• Seminary Circle -- up to $249
• Micah Circle -- $250 - $499
• Corinthian Circle -- $500 - $999
• Ministry Circle -- $1,000 - $2,499
• Stewards Circle -- $2,500 - $4,999
• Servant Circle -- $5,000 - $9,999
• Founders Circle -- $10,000 and above

Deferred Arrangements

The Olive Tree Community is Bethany's heritage society that recognizes friends who have established some kind of planned gift arrangement for Bethany, such as

• Designation in a will or living trust
• Charitable Gift Annuity
• Charitable Remainder Unitrust or Annuity Trust
• Charitable Lead Trust
• Insurance policy
• Designation of death benefit in a retirement plan
